ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
The goal of the Eastern Pain Association annual meeting is to provide a unique, dynamic, interactive program to discuss current and emerging treatment options for chronic pain patients. Faculty members include: recognized national thought leaders, local mentors and educators, emerging future leaders and clinicians including local program fellows and residents.
Information presented will include clinical data, case studies and multi-center clinical trial data. Discussions will be both lecture and panel discussions. In all instances of interaction with attendees, question and answer sessions will be encouraged.
TARGET AUDIENCE
National and regional thought leaders, local program directors and educators, regional therapy experts and emerging leaders including fellows and residents.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Interpret new evidence to assist in implementing standards of care and to improve medical safety.

Discuss established and evolving concepts in pain management and neuroscience.

Achieve a greater understanding of best practices and available guidelines on new techniques, agents and therapies.

Comprehend the importance of, and the application of, research to their practices.
